A 6.2 tremor was felt in most of Costa Rica today at 1:21pm local time. Some minor injuries were reported as well as some building damage in a small town in Sarapiqui.

 The epicenter was about 10 kilometers East of the Poas Volcano and at about 35 kilometers of depth according to OVSICORI.

After shocks have been felt throughout most of the Northern and Central parts of Costa Rica but they have been of minor intensity.
